I just love these two as a couple.
In 2004, he started with rapes and then worked his way up to kidnapping and murder. It was also awesome to see Travis, RT and Z! Hide and Seek leads you on a great cat and mouse game in which you will never guess who the bad guys are.
Honestly though, I am really concerned about Travis - you will probably be too after this book. This book ticked all my boxes, I was intrigued and I was captivated in a story that has so much going for it and Ms Edwards is certainly making a name for herself in the world of suspense and intrigue. She is determined to work with the profiling team.
Brantley is working toward building up the team and looking for the woman who kidnapped Travis's daughter. The Task Force Team is expanding and developing. Having stumbled across this book at the library several years ago, I quickly vowed to get my own copy of Peek-a-Moo! Which leads her Deep Run, Virginia, and to one-time lover Mike Nevada. Working with Macy is local sheriff Mike Nevada, a former agent and someone Macy has a personal connection with.
There was never a dull moment, especially since the killer is on the hunt and targeting new victims as Mike and Macy race to unmask this villain.
You don't necessarily have to read the other two books in order to enjoy this one but I do recommend it.
This is my favorite book in the series.
This third novel finds Brantley and Reese settling more into their relationship, we get to know the other team members more JJ and the detective? She would be working with an old lover of her's, Mike Nevada, and they would fall in love this time around.
