The Barnstable Restaurant and Tavern

We sold our Boston restaurant and moved to the cape full time in 2002. Please stop by and join us for a delightful dining experience that will Barnstable your soul! We are Bob Calderone and Susan Finegold, husband and wife team and the owners of the Barnstable Restaurant and Tavern. Barnstable stayed in Cambridge for 5 years and then moved into the Lenox Hotel in Downtown Boston. Once again we were very successful and received great press and awards.

The Barnstable Restaurant and Tavern

We have been Barnstable together since 1986 and bought our first restaurant, Anago Bistro Barnstable 1992. That year, we helped Graham Silliman to open Siena at Mashpee Commons. In 2001 our daughter, Sophia was born and our life transitioned. On the lighter side we serve delicious crispy Thin Crust Pizzas and our award winning Grilled Tavern Burger.

In 2004, Bob was ready to become an owner again, and the Tavern became available. We received great reviews and accolades from all of the different critics including the Boston Globe, Bon Appetit, Money Magazine, Food and Wine, The Herald, the Improper Bostonian.
