Thus, if the articles, bylaws, or other rules like the CRC church order contrain the activities of an organization, a breach of covenant occurs when those in authority in that organization engage the organization in activities beyond that constraint, that is, beyond the the fence established by the articles, bylaws or other rules. This doctrine has inspired the Church's attitudes, as we have already mentioned, throughout history. As the interdependence of men increases in industrial and technological civilization the responsibility for dealing with the great networks of interrelationship increases.

Almost all States, whether of recent or ancient foundation, experience the problems of diverse minorities settled within their borders. How Religion is Vital to Society

When local congregations welcome and help migrant workers who are suffering harm from unjust immigration laws, the church needs to act in solidarity with its members to seek justice and change in the laws.

It wants, rather, to help them find a way out of such situations through concrete and progressive efforts. They wanted to see in Ham or Canaan the ancestor of the African peoples whom they had subjugated and, consequently, they considered them marked by God with an indelible inferiority which destined them to serve whites forever. We ought not take these principles selectively to serve partisan interests.
