At present, with the world in the grip of an international crisis, I find myself unable or perhaps disinclined, to provide a brief summary of my seventy years. The resulting works are as formal as they are lyrical, as aesthetically pleasing as they are conceptually challenging.

The artist begins work on a painting by producing collages made from color swatches collected over the course of her career. And then I can't help noticing that the date of this newspaper is way back in 2008. Her work is in many prestigious collections and major museums throughout the United States, including the Art Institute of Chicago; the Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh; the High Museum, Atlanta; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
